Mary Stevens had been introducing Northcentral Montana to therapeutic harp music since 2010, beginning with volunteer bedside music in the local nursing home and expanding her outreach to include Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy to clients in her private music studio. She has been active in the music community of Havre, Montana for more than 25 years through involvement with various church, school, and community activities. Her professional credentials include being a former Registered Piano Tuner and Technician, Lay Pastoral Associate with the Montana Synod ELCA, Certified Clinical Musician, Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner, and Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy Practitioner. She has received awards for outstanding support of the students of the local high school, and the Volunteer of the Year award for her volunteer work at Northern Montana Care Center from the Montana Health Care Association for the State of Montana. She resides in Havre, Montana and offers a variety of therapeutic music to hospice and care center residents, volunteers to teach piano lessons at the local Boys and Girls Club, provides Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy through her private music studio, and serves First Lutheran Church in Havre as the choir director, music coordinator, pianist and organist.
